Both Skip and Cycle feel peaceful yet they're just a 5 minute drive to the High Street. Better still, there are pleasant woodland walks into Bethesda so you can ditch the car altogether and enjoy the fresh air as you stroll to the shops to get provisions. See the map to get your bearings.

Lon Las Ogwen cycle path

Bridge over the River Ogwen at Ogwen Bank.

Walk up behind Skip or Cycle and you'll get to the Lon Las Ogwen cycle track. Turn left for Zipworld and the Ogwen Valley.

From the road (B4409) look out for these steps up into the woods. This will take you into Bethesda via the scenic route,
